NGC6205 (M13) Globular Cluster

34. NGC6205 (M13) Globular Cluster
M13 is the finest globular in the northern half of the sky. It is just visible to the naked eye along the western side of the Keystone of Hercules. A worthwhile experience is to examine this great object first with binoculars and then with larger and larger telescopes. In a 16-inch it is a fantastic swarm of stars, many in chains that curve from the center to the edge.
