22. NGC3242 Planetary Nebula
This is one of the brightest and easiest planetaries to find, for it stands out in an otherwise rather empty sky. Its pale bluish disk has a surface brightness about eight times greater than the celebrated Ring nebula in Lyra and bears magnifications up to 200. A 6-inch telescope will easily show the 11th magnitude central star.
