20. NGC3034 (M82) Galaxy Even in a 4-inch telescope much detail can be seen on the disk of this irregular galaxy. The best view was with my 10-inch at a star outing at Stanhope. Sharpedged dark knots were scattered across the long narrow spindle and gave an illusion of continuous motion.
