17. NGC2440 Planetary Nebula Because of the lack of nearby stars, this planetary is difficult to find. Leland S. Copeland recommended at least an 8-inch aperture; 12 inches will give better results. However, on a superb night you maybe able to pick this object up in a 4-inch refractor.
